Description
In this strikingly realistic pop-colored painting, a giant endangered panda is depicted in a peaceful repose, lying atop a massive, oversized pear. The combination of the realistic portrayal and vibrant pop colors creates a visually captivating image that demands attention. The symbolism behind this composition is profound. The giant panda, an emblematic and endangered species, represents the fragility of our natural world and the urgent need for conservation efforts. The oversized pear, a symbol of abundance and nourishment, serves as a reminder of the interconnectedness between nature and humanity. It symbolizes the responsibility we have to protect and preserve our environment, ensuring a harmonious coexistence for all living beings. Through this painting, we are prompted to reflect on the importance of safeguarding endangered species and the delicate balance between our actions and the survival of our planet.

Artwork Features
In this highly expressive and passionate style Gillie and Marc have let their emotions run free in this explosive collection of freehand painting. Inspired by the styles of Brett Whiteley, Francis Bacon, and Jean-Michel Basquiat, Gillie and Marc have combined enamel paint with oil pastel to breathe life into the worlds most endangered species. Over the past five years, Gillie and Marc spent hours sketching and studying wildlife, travelling the globe to meet these animals up close. These sketches have now been brought to life in vibrant colour with love and passion. Each painting is created as a team with both the artists bringing their own emotion into every painting.

Please note: All canvases come stretched and ready to hang, however if you would like your painting to be framed, Gillie and Marc are happy to provide this service for you at your request. For framing enquiries please email us.
