Artwork Features Gillie and Marc’s latest work is an exciting explosion between their painting and sculpture. With a love for both 2D and 3D work they have created a unique style of work which are in essence sculptured paintings.
Gillie and Marc spent a lot of their early creative life in Ubud, Bali. This was the home of painted wood carvings. They began to collect many Balinese wood carvings and learned how to artistically paint wood. Over the years they experimented in relief woodcuts looking to give it a contemporary feel. Much of their inspiration is looking at traditional art forms like bronze sculpture and wood carving and then creating ways to make it contemporary.
They are excited and proud to introduce their latest and favourite collection “Woodcut POP". These are carved wooden panels primed and sealed and then painted with a pop gloss enamel. These vibrant and exciting works allow the 2D paintings to fly off the wall giving excitement and dimension to wall art. Rabbitgirl and Dogman literally pop off the wall in a 3D effect. The modern explosion of colour and vibrancy is contemporary art at its cutting edge.
Galleries, collectors and corporates across the globe have already fallen in love with Woodcut POP with 10 major commissions now in progress.

They were having so much fun, and with each gentle swaying of their wooden steed, they could feel the world around them pulsing and rocking too. The bright lights of the city seemed to sparkle more vibrantly, and the sounds of people and laughter flowed like beautiful melodies. Together, on their rocking horse, Dogman and Rabbitwoman were unstoppable and had the power to rock the world in their own special way. Style Contemporary Pop Art, Romanticism, Adventure Description Whatever Dogman and Rabbitwoman do, they are always in love. They wake up, they drink coffee, they work, they eat - always so in love. But, their most favourite way to be in love was to hold on to each other tight, jump on their vespa and go for the ride of their life.

Description They had created a life they had no need to escape from, a slow start sipping coffee in the morning sun and golden hour glistening as far as the eyes can meet as their day comes to a close. Artwork Features Sending you to a world of luxury and opulence, this range of gold leaf paintings shows Rabbitwoman and Dogman and all wildlife at their finest. Gold leaf sheets are carefully laid onto the canvas, brushed, and smoothed out, adding a wonderful, glittery effect to its surface. Gillie and Marc believe that every moment can be a luxury. Description Dogman and Rabbitwoman know that life moves in funny motions, up and down and sometimes round and round. Whatever the direction the carousel begins to spin, they keep each other close knowing that together they can happily take a ride when more colour gets added to life.
Artwork Features The purest example of the artist’s freehand work, Gillie and Marc’s ‘Contemporary Line & Stencil Paintings’ are a stunning series that pairs unashamedly bold colors with deep black line work to form intimate moments featuring their signature alter egos, endangered wildlife and more. The carefully selected vivid colors and unmistakable imagery means no two pieces are alike and can have multiple meanings the more they are viewed. Gillie and Marc paint each unique canvas side-by-side ensuring love is engrained in every brushstroke of each one-of-a-kind work of art. Recently inspired by the pop style of Andy Warhol and the iconic stencils of street artists Banksy and Mr. Brainwash, Gillie and Marc expanded their collection with the edgy addition of using spray paint stencils on their canvases. The stark contrast of bright colors beneath a dark stencil breathes life into this limited series, embodying Gillie and Marc’s philosophy of the importance of accessible art by playfully bringing the street to the canvas.

Style Contemporary Pop Art, Romanticism, Adventure Description The Vespa Riders were ready to spread their love everywhere they went, they left a trail of happiness behind them like the flowers in the spring hug you with their scent. They were on a mission to leave everyone they encountered with a smile but of course these two would only do it in style.

Please note: All canvases come stretched and ready to hang, however if you would like your painting to be framed, Gillie and Marc are happy to provide this service for you at your request. For framing enquiries please email us.
Care Instructions It is important to keep your painting out of direct sunlight and not to lean anything against the surface of the canvas. If it gets dusty, it can be cleaned with a soft dry cloth.

Description Rabbitwoman and Dogman were always at their happiest when they were together. They loved nothing more than to jump on their Vespa and head off on an adventure. But it wasn’t necessarily the destination that filled them with such excitement. To them, the journey was just as invigorating. Cuddling as they rode they felt themselves light up with joy. Nothing could be better.
